Paint Booth Operator

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to paint, vibration, and noise levels. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. Shop conditions consist of dirt/dust.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full time position with overtime. Expected to work 40-60 hours a week.

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
This is an entry level position.

Job Description:
Responsible for painting all pumps after assembly and testing process is complete. Must be able to read and interpret orders to make sure orders match correct pumps. Responsible for filling out proper paperwork for paint usage, and making sure container has enough paint to complete duties.

Must communicate with foreman regarding rush pumps and any other painting process. Must provide foreman with a copy of every order.

Once painting process is complete, must place clear tags over labels, put correct location arrows on each pumps, attach wire test tag to pump, place pumps on wagons and wrap wagons to protect pumps.

Responsible for keeping up with paint booth maintenance. Advise foreman when additional supplies are needed.

Responsible for keeping work area clean.
